5 New posts

I have fallen behind again and wanted to catch up. Sorry there are so many.

Pay It Forward

Got this off one of my friends blogs and wanted to play. SO--Here's how it works-the first 3 people to leave a comment on this post will receive, at some point, a handmade gift from me. What it will be and when it will arrive is a total surprise! The catch is that you must participate as well. Before you leave your comment here, write up a pay it forward post on your blog to keep the fun going. Then come back, let me know you're going to play, and sit back and anticipate the arrival of your gift! Remember that only the first 3 comments will receive a gift from me, so be quick! Also please leave your email address so I can email you to get your mailing address and I will have a few other questions for you! Thanks and have fun paying it forward.

Bobbys birthday was the fifth of this month, his brother Billys is the sixth and so is their cousin Rugers. We always have a family birthday party to celebrate all three. This year we rented the showlo pool for a few hours. It was alot of fun and something diiferent from the normal dinner cake and ice cream at someones house.

Mason is 2 months shy of 1

My sweet little Mason with his six tooth grin makes me fall more and more in love with him each and everyday. He has become quite the little ham and loves to smile now for the camera. (wonder how long that will last) I know in my 9 month post i said he would probably be walking by now but hes not. Im kind of relieved. Hes content with crawling for now and thats just fine with me. He gets into enough as it is. He hasnt gotten anymore teeth either. They come down for a few days and get swollen and then go back up. He thinks hes all that and a bag of potatoe chips now that he can sit on brothers bike. He can only make it go backwards. He loves to push Jarrin around the kitchen on it though and I think Jarrin loves it too. Mason doesnt know what hes getting himself into being willing like that. Funny story about the picture of the two boys together. Jarrin has always been a kid who loves to eat dirt and mud (no I did not crave it when I was pregnant nor did I eat it) even now I can find him some days sitting by the front door picking dirt off his shoes and eating it. Wierd kid I know. Well it must be jeans or something that Mason has just picked upon because now he does it too. So the other night I was folding clothes and couldnt hear the boys playing anymore so I went looking for them, and where do you think I found them?! Both sitting by the door eating mud off the shoes. Jarrin was picking it off and feeding it to Mason and then picking some off for himself. Of course they stopped before i could grab the camera though so I made them sit together and show me thier mud faces And Mason really did. (sorry its blurry) BOYS BOYS BOYS!!! Well I cant believe it, one more month and I will have a three year old and the month after that a one year old. Where has the time gone?

Monster Truck Rally 2009

The last weekend in January Bobbys dad got us all tickets to the monster truck rally in phoenix. We also got tickets to the pre party. So we got to go down on the field and take pictures by the monster trucks and just check things out. We stayed in a really nice hotel for cheap. Jarrin was so excited all week long and thats all we heard about for days. It was alot of fun. I think my favorite part was getting to play with my camera and get some awesome pics,( the flash on my camera kept bouncing off peoples heads in front of me though so they turned out a little blurry) and of course spending time with my hubby and boys. Jarrin wasnt as impressed and i think we thought he would be. It was really loud and I mean really loud. We all had ear plugs, but Jarrin couldnt get his to stay in so he just plugged his ears and then he slept through about the last 30 mins (while still managing to plug his ears). Mason slept through all of it except for about 45 mins. All in all we had a great time. Not sure that its something i would want to go to every year but it would be fun to take the boys again when they get bigger and I have a better camera. Thanks Grandpa for the fun weekend.
